This coloring books is so cool. The pages are not regular looking white paper, its got this great calligraphy style paper in it. It has two fold out posters and the art work is great. Coloring options are unlimited and some of these designs would be really cool as a tattoo. This book was worth the cost we paid and there is a lot of pages so it will last for a long time. The only thing I didn't like was there are about 3 pages that have nudity type pictures in them and I don't care for that type of art work but I will just easy enough modify an color in the picture so in the end it won't be that way. I still gave a five star because the quality of this book and the majority of the art work is just really cool!

One of the better adult colouring books on the market.

Not often I am inclined to give a colouring book 5 stars. Too many fall short due to paper quality, or stupidly tight binding with double page images becoming impossible to complete.
So the fact this has 4 stars should indicate I rate it highly.
What I like:
112 pages of images to complete. This is not a short book where you feel you are short changed. (Too many have 30 - 40 pages)
Plenty of choice and variety with images. Trust me - you will not bemoaning the same old, same old on every page (thinking leaves here on Enchanted Forest...lol)
Paper takes pencil beautifully. It feels rough and dry but any pencil goes down well. Even my cheaper ones. You can use some gel pens but be wary of markers - they may shadow through or bleed through to the other side.
The incorporated gold colour is not over used, and is used in the right places. You really don't feel it negatively affects your own colour choices.
Ideal for beginner or intermediate colourists. Not a lot of small area where you feel frustrated, nor too many large areas where you feel it is akin to a child's colouring book. Balance is just right.
What I didn't like:
I had to disembowel the book to reach the double paged images. There are not too many, but the binding does not allow the book to be laid out flat. This is not as irritating as with other books but buyers need to be aware of this.
Paper colour is the cream / buff shade, so those who like pristine white paper best avoid this book. I found it suited the art style.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the adult colouring craze. It is well produced with great variety. I use it when I want a break from detailed work, or if I want to do a page in one day and not feel obliged to be excessively art with shading etc.

This great book in my opinion is at the top end of tattoo sketchbooks currently in vogue. The book contains many outlines of time honoured classics drawn in a nice modern style and highlighted in flashes of gold to give them that extra edge. The book is A4 size and has two full colour centre page pullouts that open to two A3 size sheets of flash! There are several Japanese style classics as well as western,Hispanic and nautical designs. What is remarkable about the book is the price, it would still be great value if it was 10 times the amount! I highly recommend this book to tattooists,enthusiasts of tattooing and collectors everywhere. Make sure it is in your collection!
